BACKGROUND
INFORMATION
I have worked in the field of Theatre as
a Freelance since 1994. Since then I have been involved with many
companies working on many
differing projects with a large range of clients. Those listed
above are projects that I have worked on for the past few years
and this
reflects my current level of practice. All of these workshops
or programmes have involved some kind of theatre or performance
element.
My wider professional experience includes: Artistic Direction and
Assistant Direction. Lead (and following Artist) in cross arts projects.
Project management. Live and Performance Arts. Street theatre, Actors
trainer, Actor, Puppeteer, Voice Over Artist. Songwriter, Scriptwriter.
Devisor/Dramaturge. Singer - and pantomime horse (rear-end).
As a freelance facilitator I have experience working with most
types of client group and collaborations as well as for a diverse
range
of organisations. My rates are freelance so I am responsible
for my own Tax and National Insurance. The range of my fee falls
within the relevant bands set by the Arts Council, which you can
access
on the
Arts
Council England website. There is, however a sliding scale
depending on
the length and the type of the project and who the project is
with and for.
I am, and have recently been involved in, projects
that have been funded by the Learning Initiative Fund, The
Learning and Skills Council and the Neighbourhood Support Fund.
I have
been trained and participated within the evaluation of these
works as well as the assessment and documentation of the projects
so
I am familiar to the set up and delivery of outcomes for
these bodies.
