peedie gallery specifications
The current Peedie Gallery (version 1: May 2006) is a green rectangular cardboard box with a lid.
The internal dimensions are:
Width: 130mm
Length: 255mm
Height: 115mm
As the Peedie Gallery is a shoebox, there are obvious size restrictions on the artwork we can display. Artwork is affixed to the walls of the gallery with either Velcro tabs or sticky tape - or by the use of a sliding wall insert. As the gallery structure itself is ‘renewable’ in nature (we can always replace the entire gallery after a show with another box), we can also accept artworks which are applied directly to the walls of the gallery (murals, installations etc.).
