The Triangle Arts Trust was founded in New York in 1983 by Robert Loder and the internationally renowned sculptor Anthony Caro with a view to establishing a network of artists, visual art organisations and artist lead workshops enabling more contact and opportunities between artists from different countries and cultures across the globe. The workshop model provides an uninterrupted period for artists to collaborate, explore new ideas and expand the boundaries of their practice.

In April 2008 I was lucky enough to take part in the 3 Islands workshop in
Hoy. 20 artists from around the world came together for 2 weeks to make work,
have fun and be inspired by one of Orkneys most beautiful islands.
