Discover the wild and wonderful atmsophere of Orkney during a special Winter Solstice Break during 2007. Our reduced rates during our off-peak season* mean that you can enjoy the tranquil and stunning character of the Orkney Islands during some of its most beautiful months.
Between the 6th of January and the 31st of March, the 1st and 6th of October and from the 22nd of October up until the 22nd of December, you can experience Orkney from the warm and comfortable holiday accommodation , in Outertown, Stromness.
Bird watching, walking, beachcombing and visiting nearby Stromness are just a few of the activities for which is ideally situated. For pure relaxation and tranquillity, however, this house is also the perfect place.
Take in the cool, fresh air, the big skies and the amazing midwinter sunsets of Orkney. Imagine yourself in the evening curling up next to a raging fire with an Orkneyinga Saga to read and a fine Single Malt in your hand.
Winter Solstice Breaks are the perfect opportunity for a relaxing, romantic, peaceful Autumn or early Spring break. Perfect to unwind with after a busy Summer - or enjoy it as a special treat for you and a loved one.

Deposit: £200 / non-refundable. We require outstanding balances to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. We do not accept bookings for further than one year ahead. We only accept cheques or postal orders - we do not accept credit cards.

Please note: Some visitor attractions close down during the Winter months in Orkney - please check locally to avoid disappointment. Also, the days are considerably shorter and the weather is very changeable in Orkney during the Winter and early Spring - perfect though if you love 'real weather' and loads of atmosphere!
