This website (www.stevand.net) is the online advertisement of the self catering holiday accommodation (Outertown, Stromness, Orkney, KW16 3JP, UK) which is owned by Matilda Tumim and Christopher Prendergast of Stackaldbrae, Downie's Lane, Stromness, Orkney, KW16 3EP, UK.
Please read the following terms and conditions of letting and website use.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that information contained on this site is correct and up to date, no responsibility or liability can be accepted for any loss or damage incurred as a result of relying on information or contained within this website. Reservations, bookings and payment must be confirmed by the owners.
Terms and Conditions of Letting

We do not accept bookings for further than one year ahead. We only accept cheques or postal orders - we do not accept credit cards. We require a deposit of £200 (GBP), which is non-refundable and we require outstanding balances to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. A 25% refund on full cost will be available should you require to cancel at short notice.
We reserve the right to change/modify dates on the availablity calendar on this website without notice. The calendar should be used only as a guide to available dates. Please check via email or by telephone directly with the owners to confirm/reserve dates and to avoid disappointment.
Guest changeover is usually on a Saturday. We kindly request that you vacate by 9.30am on the morning of your departure. For arrrivals, the house will be normally be ready for entry after 3.00pm on the afternoon of your arrival date. Times wil be confirmed in writing once you have made a reservation.
Although we endeavour to honour all bookings, we reserve the right to cancel at any time should the property sustain damage or otherwise become unsuitable to accommodate your holiday. On such an event, we will refund any moneys paid in full. Any additional cost you may incur will be a matter for your holiday insurance arrangements. We will not be liable for additional costs.
Please note that is a no smoking property. Also, pets are not allowed.
Please note that all items of personal property, valuables and vehicles are left at at their owners own risk.
An inventory of the house contents will be provided on your arrival and we would kindly request that any shortfalls or damages be made known to us within 24 hours of your entrance. Any damaged or missing items will be chargeableat full replavcement cost on your departure.
