You can watch the hills and cliffs of the island of Hoy transform in the ever-changing light; a strip of land and ocean that once seen will never be forgotten. On a clear day the hills of Caithness and Sutherland on the Scottish mainland are visible on the horizon.
South facing, enjoys the midnight Orkney summer sunsets - and on a fine autumn or winter night the Northern Lights, or 'Merry Dancers', can often be seen.
