DYLAN (again)

This is the official Columbia Legacy view of the new compilation:

“DYLAN is the definitive Bob Dylan collection and chronicles the artist's four decades of groundbreaking studio recordings and serves as both a comprehensive introduction for new fans and an expansive, cherished overview for long-time Dylan devotees.

“Fans will truly appreciate the attention to detail in the Limited Edition Boxset which comes housed in a red cloth covered box and featuring all the songs from the 3-CD set but on CDs designed to look like replica vinyl in their own sleevecases and also includes a 40 page booklet with extended liner notes and rare photos, as well 10 limited edition postcard prints.”

A far less positive write-up has been picked up by Martin Cowan - “a spot-on review from Pitchfork:”

I fear my own (critical) position on DYLAN might have been compromised – a slip of a family tongue suggests that a Limited Ed box set might already have been stashed away as my Xmas present… if only they’d asked first… but I suppose it’s the thought that counts…
