Modern Times - faint praise in New York Times
Modern Times – only seven days to go, and counting – gets faint praise in a thoughtful review by veteran rockscribe Jon Pareles in yesterday’s New York Times: “tentative… just-jamming… lackadaisical… songs will only get better on tour…”.
We shall see. Pareles might well be right. Or wrong.
A nice article, nonetheless, with insight into Dylan’s art.
