Dylan in Cardiff – encore

Thanks to Jerry Stone for his comments on the recent Cardiff concert:

“Pete Williams is correct in saying this was a good gig but I'd just like to say that it was more than that...it was an excellent gig.

“Bob's voice was marvellous and, along with the songs Pete mentions, highlights included an awesome 'Cold Irons Bound' and a chilling 'Love Sick'. I'd add that 'All Along The Watchtower' was the best live version of this song I have heard.

“The band could be better but George is a brilliant drummer and Denny played a few tasty licks on guitar. Donny's fiddle and steel guitar were good but a little restrained. What IS Stu for?”
