Bob books bonanza
Facing challenging retail conditions, the major UK music retail chains are discounting deeply. Only last weekend, I espied some heavy duty bargains for buyers of Dylan books:
* Bob Dylan Lyrics 1962-2001, Harper Collins, 2004 - RRP c£35 - is still retailing in Virgin Megastore at a staggering £5.99.
* And HMV is discounting The Rough Guide to Bob Dylan, presumably in anticipation of a new edition, at £2.99, and the three Paul Williams Performing Artist books are still selling for £3.99 each.
