NME poll of top 100 albums - encore

“As we surely know, this Top 100 lark is a bit of a mug’s game. There are always recent albums included, often quite highly placed, by artists who have yet to really deserve their timeless plaudits.

“It is pleasing that any Dylan albums still trouble the top 100, and I guess it's likely that even the two included here will drop out in the end. I seem to remember that Highway 61 Revisited used to appear in this type of thing.

“The Oasis album is a great album, but compared to Dylan... ?”
