Dylan's XM Radio debut

Dylan’s debut as a DJ on satellite station XM Radio on 3 May (1000 ET) is a must-listen.

The playlist, 19 songs on the theme of “weather”, is what you’d expect of Dylan – some familiar blues and country, a bit of prime rock, lots of pre-rock pop, but, most of all, stuff you’ve never even heard of – Consolers? Prisonaires? Spaniels? Who dey?

As he has done throughout his career, Dylan wants to teach you about the American music which contributed to his unique art.

And, probably for the first time in the history of radio, the DJ’s commentary will be even more interesting than the music he plays.

Delights in store…

Gerry Smith
