Tour of 2006 kicks off

Setlists and reviews of the early shows in the new tour, which kicked off in the USA at the weekend, indicate that 2006 is a continuation of the 2005 edition.

It’ll confirm Dylan – if it were ever in doubt – as the most iconic musician on Planet Earth and give pleasure to hundreds of thousands fans of all ages.

Whether you actually go to any of the shows depends on your attitude to listening to music in arenas and stadiums. I’ll be giving 2006 a miss, and listening to my album collection instead – there’s always something new in a Dylan album, no matter how many times you’ve heard it before.
