Dylan on DVD/video
Thanks to Nicola Menicacci and Tom Townsend for their contributions:
Nicola advises that his web site has just loaded a new video to complement his book exploring the influence of the esoteric in Dylan’s work.

Tom writes:
“I own 'No Direction Home' (like everyone else) but I have not had the time to view it all yet. I must however say that even if you saw it on the BBC (I saw about half of it), it is still worthwhile to buy just for the extras that are thrown in, well worth £20 let alone £13.
“I also own the Mickey Jones DVD. It was a bit of a disappointment, I must say. I gave up after a while - the DVD seems to be more about Mickey than Bob. There are some interesting points to note about it, though - I had previously thought that Bob had shouted 'play it fucking loud' but Mickey informs us that it was not Bob and he believes it to be a member of the stage crew.
”www.amazon.co.uk has details of other Dylan DVD releases.”
