Collectables discounted for Dylan Daily readers
Canadian photographer Lawrence Kirsch is best known for his in-concert rock shots, documenting top artists from Dylan to David Bowie, captured between the early 1970s and 1989. His work has been published in innumerable magazines and books, as well as on record sleeves and in promo material.
He now sells prints of his photographs – limited edition, numbered – via the web. His best-selling Dylan shot is a lovely action shot of Zim, in the iconic garb of a magical tour, belting out a harp solo in a Rolling Thunder Revue gig.
Kirsch also has a unique collection of Dylan memorabilia for sale. Pieces catching my eye include vinyl - singles like Rainy Day Women 12 and 35; Dylan covers of magazines – eg Rolling Stone, March 1972; and books – such as a Scaduto hardback.
If you’re a Dylan collector, you should take a look. I’ve no links/have never dealt with Lawrence Kirsch/musicfoto. I’ve no reason to expect any problems (I wouldn’t cover any dealer if I had any doubts) but, as always with recommendations on the Dylan Daily: caveat emptor.
Lawrence Kirsch is currently offering readers of this site “a 20% discount on any of our Dylan items, as long as they mention Dylan Daily”.
